Now offering online group meetings for individuals living with stroke/brain injury and their support systems to connect during the coronavirus pandemic. Social isolation is often a result of an illness or injury, and connecting with others who understand your unique challenges and situation is motivating and uplifting. A discussion about happiness inspired by the book of the same title written by Ken Verni.

Thursdays: 12:30 - 1:30: Yoga for Those Living With Stroke/Brain Injury (and their caregiver/family member)
This our third session of Yoga led by our very own Jerry! Thanks to a grant from the Iyengar Yoga Association and support of the local Iyengar Yoga Studio in Urbana, Illinois, we are able to offer this class for free...and now we are thrilled to allow you to join wherever you are online. Jerry leads us through gentle poses designed for our group and provides individualized attention during the session. Never tried yoga? Join us on line. Yoga has been shown to be beneficial for those living with stroke and brain injury.
